Welcome to Burlington

Town Hall winter parking ban

Due to snow conditions and the travel ban imposed by the Governor, Town offices were closed on Tuesday. Town offices will re-open tomorrow, Wednesday, beginning at 11:00 am. Schools and the senior center will remain closed for Wednesday. We do ask that you check on your neighbors to make sure that they are safe and well and to please clean the fire hydrants near you for fire safety.

We wish to commend our public works and public safety crews for their diligence and hard work during this storm. The Town has had no power outages reported. DPW crews have been working non-stop to clear streets during this difficult, potential record setting, snow event. This has been a long and tiring event. It will take a couple of days to clean all our streets and sidewalks due to the high intensity of this storm. There is a lot of work that needs to take place to push the snow back to reclaim the paved areas. We ask for your patience during this time.

TRASH/RECYCLE DELAY NOTICE :  Due To the storm on 1/27/15 and the State of Emergency Trash & Recycle collection will be Delayed one day to Friday 1/30/15.  Any questions please contact Republic Services at 800-442-9006 or DPW at 781-270-1670.
