ARTICLE 8 RE: Redevelopment of Landlocked Parcel Appointment of Town Meeting Committee and Subcommittee of Board of Selectmen

To see if Town Meeting will have a discussion and expression of views pertaining to the future development concepts of Patriot Partners, the holders of the interest in the option agreement for the so-called “Landlocked Parcel” located on the southerly side of Route 3 and bordered by Route 128 and Route 62, Burlington, Massachusetts. To see also if Town Meeting will direct (i) the Town Moderator to appoint a committee of Town Meeting Members (up to five members); and (ii) the Board of Selectmen, Planning Board, Board of Health and Conservation Commission each appoint to the aforementioned committee of Town Meeting Members a member to participate with this review of proposals by Patriot Partners in anticipation of a future presentation to Town Meeting, or to act in any other manner in relation thereto.

MAIN MOTION: As Printed in the Warrant

A motion to amend by adding the words “The applicant agrees to provide all engineering surveys and other due diligence reports to the Town at the conclusion of the committee’s report.” was moved, seconded and so voted.

ACTION: By a vote of 47 in favor and 35 opposed, the main motion as amended carried
