Memorial Day 1976

In the 1976 Annual Report, Charles P. Casassa, Director of Veterans Services expressed his regret as he announced his retirement effective April 30, 1977. He sincerely appreciated all the assistance received. He continued that he felt very privileged to have been of service to the town as cemetery commissioner, finance committee member (1.5 years), the town's first Historical Commission Member (3 years) and Veterans Agent (9 years). Mr. Casassa strongly urged the town officials and the people of Burlington to continue to support the Office of Veterans Services as it is "one of the best facilities for human needs resources Burlington has to offer its people."
